I had a fantastic two weeks volunteering with the excellent @refugeecommunitykitchen at their Calais warehouse. When headlines get me down (and I know I work in headlines), nothing inspires and uplifts me more than hanging out with other volunteers -

My first time in the Pyrenees (I'm a spoiled travel journalist who mainly got sent to the fancy Alps) and it was an absolute blast. Highly recommend going to the mountains with six hot gay men and a dog!
